Healthy pizza recipe using a grater plate - Surprise your guests

🍕 Delicious Homemade Pizza with a Special Touch! 🍕

Ready to make a spectacular pizza at home? 👩🍳✨ It's a lighter and healthier option than a traditional pizza, and the grating plate is essential for giving the base an interesting texture. Perfect for a creative and different meal to share with friends and family! 💕

Ingredients (ideal for 2 people)

For the base

1 large zucchini
2 medium carrots
1 large potato
1 egg
2 tablespoons of oat or almond flour (you can use regular flour if you prefer)
Salt and pepper to taste
Spices to taste (oregano, basil, or garlic powder)

For the toppings

Natural tomato sauce
Grated cheese (mozzarella or your favorite)
Mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spinach, etc. (Your preferred pizza toppings).

Instructions

1. Grate the ingredients for the base:

  • Use a grater to grate the zucchini, carrot, and potato.

2. Drain off excess liquid

  • Place the grated vegetables in a colander or clean cloth and squeeze out the excess liquid, especially from the zucchini, so the base isn't too soggy.

3. Mix the dough

  • In a large bowl, combine the grated vegetables with the egg, almond or oat flour, salt, pepper, and any spices you prefer.
  • Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated. You should obtain a mixture thick enough to form a firm base.

4. Shape the base

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the vegetable mixture into a circle or square, as you prefer.
  • Press it down firmly with your hands to ensure it's compact and won't fall apart during baking.

5. Pre-bake the base

  • Bake the base in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 15-20 minutes, until it's lightly golden brown and firm to the touch.

6. Add the toppings

  • Remove the base from the oven and spread it with tomato sauce.
  • Add the grated cheese and any other toppings you like, such as mushrooms, spinach, onion, etc.

7. Bake again

  • Return the pizza to the oven for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.

8. Serve

  • Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and it's ready to enjoy!

It's a lighter and healthier option than a traditional pizza, and the grating plate is essential for giving the base an interesting texture. Perfect for a creative and different meal!
