We are launching our super blog of recipes and to launch it we start with a breakfast that is not only healthy but also delicious and is ideal for this time of year; Greek yogurt with apple, walnuts and cinnamon.
We all know that nuts are a great source of health and walnuts are one of those wonderful foods that shine for their great health benefits, as they contain a high protein content of quality and fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6 which help us to have a good functioning of the brain.
On the other hand, apples are a good source of petin, a type of soluble fiber that helps maintain proper intestinal transit, in addition to its consumption, which helps us maintain adequate cholesterol levels in blood.
For this recipe I used my grater plate, it is my faithful ally in the kitchen whenever I am about to add food quickly and without noticeable lumps!
We will need:
1 natural Greek yogurt or vegetable yogurt
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
In a bowl we will put the yogurt and then with our grater plate, we will first grate the walnuts (it is better that the plate is dry so that the walnut does not get wet and thus remove it easily) we will add it to the yogurt and also grate the apple, we will mix everything well and you will see how the apple is completely integrated with the yogurt giving it a delicious flavor and without noticing its texture, we will pour the teaspoon of cinnamon on top and we can now enjoy this light and full of flavor dish.
