A refreshing and healthy mix that combines the sweetness of pear with the fresh touch of arugula, the sweetness of honey, and the saltiness of Parmesan cheese. This toast is a perfect option for those looking for a light and nutritious meal.
Let's get started! To prepare this incredible gourmet toast, you'll need:
- 2 slices of rustic bread or your favorite bread 🥖
- 1 ripe but firm pear 🍐
- A handful of fresh arugula 🥬
- Honey 🍯
- 100g of Parmesan cheese 🧀
- Extra virgin olive oil (a must!)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preparing the Toast:
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy. Please don't burn the bread! 🙏🏼
2. Grating the Ingredients:
- Wash the pear well and grate it using a grater, leaving the peel on if you prefer.
- Also, grate the Parmesan cheese.
3. Assembling the Toast:
- Place a layer of grated pear on each slice of toasted bread.
- Add a handful of fresh arugula on top of the grated pear.
- Drizzle a little honey over the arugula for a touch of sweetness.
- Gently sprinkle the grated cheese over the arugula and honey.
- Add a touch of salt and pepper to taste.
