A Christmas dessert to savor slowly.
Some desserts don't need an oven, haste, or complications. Just good ingredients, textures that blend together, and that moment of calm we crave so much at Christmas.
This hazelnut cream parfait is creamy, indulgent, and balanced, with the perfect contrast between the chocolate, the smoothness of the mascarpone, and the fresh touch of the fruit.
And as always, the grater plays a starring role. Because grating, mixing, and creating are also part of the ritual.
Ingredients
For the base:
200g chocolate cookie biscuits
50g butter
For the cream:
500g mascarpone cheese
150g hazelnut cream
75g rice syrup (or your favorite sweetener)
For the topping:
1 bar of dark chocolate
Raspberries
Coconut powder
Step by step
Start with the base.
Grate the chocolate cookies on your ceramic grater until you have a fine texture. Mix with the melted butter until you get a compact and aromatic dough.
Create the cream.
In a large bowl, mix the mascarpone with the hazelnut cream and molasses. Stir slowly, enjoying how it transforms into a smooth and silky cream.
Assemble with care.
Distribute the cookie base in the bottom of the glasses and press down lightly. Add the cream on top, forming generous layers.
The finishing touch.
Melt the dark chocolate and pour a thin layer over the cream. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes so the chocolate hardens slightly.
Before serving, finish with fresh raspberries and a little shredded coconut to taste.
Extra tip
You can prepare them in advance and have them ready for the special occasion. They're perfect for a Christmas lunch, a quiet dinner, or simply to treat yourself without excuses.
Because when you cook calmly with handcrafted ceramics, even a simple dessert becomes a little ritual.
