Brownie casero de boniato y doble chocolate

Homemade sweet potato and double chocolate brownie

A sweet treat packed with fiber, and even more flavor.

When chocolate meets sweet potato, magic happens. This brownie recipe is moist, rich, and has a nutritious touch thanks to the fiber in the sweet potato and the almond flour. Perfect for sharing (or not), for a special afternoon snack, or simply for those days when you need a comforting treat in the form of dessert.

And yes, the grater also has its moment in the spotlight. Because at Tierra Cocida, cooking is also a sensory experience.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g grated chocolate
  • 100 g melting chocolate
  • 100 g butter
  • 400 g cooked sweet potato
  • 100 g coconut sugar or panela
  • 75 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 50 g almond flour
  • 50 g walnuts

Step by step:

  1. Prepare the ingredients.
Grate the chocolate and walnuts using your ceramic grater. That crunchy sound and the aroma of freshly grated chocolate already begin to tell the story.
    2. Melt the butter.
Melt the butter and mix it with the chocolate until you have a glossy cream. Add it to the cooked sweet potato and mash or mix until you have a smooth dough.
    3. Incorporate the magic.
Add the beaten eggs, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, almond flour, grated chocolate, and walnuts. All in one bowl. All with love.
    4. Pour with intention.
Place the mixture directly onto your ceramic grater, now infused with the essence of cocoa. Baking will be more special if you start with a unique piece.
    5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.

And in the meantime… let the aroma fill your kitchen.

Extra tip:

Serve it with a spoonful of natural yogurt, a handful of fresh fruit, or a spiced herbal tea.

And remember: when you cook with handcrafted ceramics, every recipe becomes a ritual.
